Another major reason I decided to take part in this campaign is to see what research means to people and to see if there were any particular messages people were getting from their involvement in research and what else can ge done to change the perceptions of what research is.
The campaign has already shown me personally how research has given patients and carers a ‘voice’ and show the impact of our involvement and that we are more than medical conditions but are part of a research network.
I got involved because involvement in research means the advancement of treatment innovations
